PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ More than a dozen gang members in north Philadelphia have been arrested after authorities say they were involved in nine shootings, including one killing, in 2014.
District Attorney Authorities: 15 gang members charged in 2014 shootingsSeth Williams on Thursday announced charges against 15 members of the TNT gang for bringing an ongoing feud and gun battle into a small section of the city. Charges include conspiracy, murder and aggravated assault.
Investigators say the violence started when a TNT member felt disrespected by a rival gang while watching a basketball game at a bar in February 2014. During their string of violence, authorities say 24-year-old Donte Johnson was shot to death after he was misidentified as part of another gang.
