ATLANTA — Congressman John Lewis’ (D-Georgia) staff will be conducting walk-in interviews on a first-come, first-served basis for unpaid internships in the revered representative’s Congressional office.
The Intern Opportunity Day will take place at: the Office of Congressman John Lewis,
100 Peachtree Street NW Ste 1920, Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 and Friday, Feb. 5, 2016
from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The minimum requirements for an internship are as follows:
- College Student or High School Senior
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Reside or attend school in Georgia’s 5th Congressional District
- Available at least 8 hours per week
- Available 3 months minimum, 6 months maximum
(Start: Feb. 16, 2016 – End: August 19, 2016)
Be sure to bring two copies of your resume along with two writing samples.
