Empire fans are rejoicing at its return on Wed., Sept. 23 on FOX. But, NBC’s The Tonight Show has released “Jimpire” a hilarious spoof of the hit show.
It features Jimmy Fallon as Luscious Lyon, and his announcer Steve Higgins as a “Cookie” wannabe. The show’s stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard even make guest starring appearances.
Perhaps, one of the funniest moments is when announcer Higgins storms in with an overflowing fur coat and leopard-spotted fedora. After a verbal battle with the real Cookie (Taraji), he ends up getting knocked out. There are plenty of other funny moments, but we can’t give them all away. Check out the video below:
