
The special event occurred July 5 at the exact same day and hour as the original wedding.
A lavish dinner celebration, program and music for dancing also occurred where it all started.
“I was a child bride,” Meggerson-Moore was quick to add. Meggerson-Moore is chairperson of the Board of Directors of the New Horizon Theater in which she produces a series of plays and musical events focused on the African American heritage.

Moore, a Vietnam Veteran, a graduate of Grambling State University, an Emmy award-winning veteran television and radio talk show host, produced a video outlining their lives and careers that was shown as a part of the program and was enjoyed by all in attendance.
Meggerson-Moore was dressed in a stunning ruby red dress, the color marking the anniversary year, while Moore accessorized his suit in the ruby red colors.

The couple has plenty to be thankful for as they reached this milestone, even though many from the original ocassion has passed away the event still was packed with people who attended the first wedding as well as new family and friends. Meggerson-Moore said she believes that they all would be pleased that this celebration was held.
