ATLANTA – Celebrities joined throngs of pizza lovers at the the iconic Chicago-style pizzeria chain Nancy’s Pizza for its shutdown and going away party in Buckhead on Sunday, May 31.

The iconic pizza restaurant is relocating from its Buckhead outpost to East Point’s Camp Creek Marketplace with the plan is to open in its new home this summer.

Nancy’s has been in business in Buckhead at 3167 Peachtree Road for a decade, it was listed as one of the city’s best options for pizza by Eater.com, despite its chain status. The pizzeria is based out of Chicago, and it’s one of Atlanta’s few options for authentic deep-dish pizza.

The forthcoming location, located at 3480 Camp Creek Parkway, will be larger and more upscale, owner Greg Cole said in the announcement.
