Many pop culture watchers believe that it was no coincidence whatsoever that Young Money princess Nicki Minaj was draped in a see-through couture jersey with “Pervert 17” stenciled across the front.
Most presume it was a passive-aggressive shot at her hated labelmate Tyga, who allegedly got secretly engaged to underage jailbait Kylie Jenner, a member of the infamous Kardashian clan.
The lacy Givenchy top was used by Nicki’s wardrobe in the “Feeling Myself” music video with Beyonce and folks believe she threw shade at Tyga and Jenner’s illicit relationship.
Tyga and Nicki have had beef since last year when he said he was pissed he had to work with Nicki and Drake just because they’re all signed to Young Money.
The Givenchy see-through top is sold at stores for $1,725 so it was an expensive shot at Tyga if that’s what really went down. What do you think?
The shirt and logo has been seen on the backs of superstars like Jay Z and Janet Jackson in years past, so what do you make of the ordeal?
While you chew on that question like an after-dinner mint, peep out a preview of the Beyonce-Nicki Minaj video “Feeling Myself,” then see the response from Blac Chyna’s mother on the subject.
