Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced that the technology firm NCR Corp. will move it’s headquarters from the north suburbs into the city and bringing thousands of jobs along with it.
Reed said NCR Corp., currently located in Duluth, is going to move to Midtown Atlanta.
With the move of its global headquarters, NCR will bring 3,600 jobs to Atlanta. It is being planned for a site on Spring Street near the Georgia Institute of Technology (better known as Georgia Tech) campus.
Reed said in a statement that NCR also plans to maintain a significant presence in suburban Atlanta. The mayor said the new headquarters in midtown Atlanta will be ready late in 2017 or early in 2018.
