A Second Chance Inc. continued to make the holidays brighter for almost 1,000 children and youth in Kinship Care. The reach and impact of their efforts have been further enhanced by the generous contribution of others. UPMC Health Plan and ASCI continued to provide consistent support for the past four years.
Additional contributions have been provided by Toys for Tots, Jameson’s Army and others.
In addition to providing toys, the event has expanded over the years to include a festive holiday open house.
Pictures with Santa, music, refreshments and a bag of goodies add to the holiday cheer as the youth receive their gifts.
The holiday celebration occurs in ASCI’s corporate location in Pittsburgh, as well as their expanding regional office in Philadelphia.
