Actress Paula Patton just drove the final two nails into the coffin that was her marriage to wild R&B rocker Robin Thicke.
First Patton officially filed for divorce from Thicke in a Los Angeles County court. Secondly, Patton reportedly moved her new boyfriend, Zak Waters, into her palatial pad in Calabasas, Calif., a wealthy suburb of Los Angeles that also housed the likes of the Kardashian clan, Justin Bieber, some of the Jackson musical family and many other celebrities.
“Zak moved in with her a couple of weeks ago,” a close friend of Patton’s spilled to radaronline.com. “They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserves to be treated.”
Waters is an LA-based musician who is getting ready for his upcoming co-headline tour with French Horn Rebellion Oct. 24-Nov. 16,
With a swipe at Thicke’s sensibilities, Waters took to his Instagram a week ago and posted a photo inside of Patton’s home with the caption “My New View.”
Thicke, 37, as you recall, tried mightily and futilely to to win back Patton’s heart, even going so far as to name his last album Paula.
The response was crickets, not only from Patton but also from the public at large. It was a critical and commercial disaster.
Patton threw in the towel on the marriage when she caught her husband cheating with a masseuse who they had been “carrying on a consensual three-way relationship with.”
“Robin is heartbroken that Paula has moved on so quickly,” the source said. “She is done with him. She does not want anyone talking to her about Robin. She has moved on.”
The only remaining link between the couple, after Patton announced her separation from Thicke in February 2014 after nine years of marriage, is their 3-year-old son, Julian Fuego Thicke.
Take a look at some photos of Zak.
