In order to imbue some new, dynamic energy into the flagship of Bravo TV’s “Real Housewives” franchise, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” station execs are reportedly ready to bring on two famous actresses and models to shake up the mix.
According to sandrarose.com, Bravo is going to test out actress Demetria McKinney and former TV game show model Claudia Jordan.
Also known as “Dee Dee” McKinney, the actress came to fame playing the crackhead wife of Allen Payne in the TBS sitcom. Jordan also played opposite Nene Leakes on the Donald Trump hit show “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Producers are hoping that the new additions will make the show more explosive McKinney and Jordan.

Claudia Jordan is perhaps best known for being a model on “The Price is Right” and being a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Since McKinney has close ties to Tyler Perry — she has also starred in a number of Perry’s traveling stage plays — it will be interesting to see if being on the bottom-feeding show will make her an unattractive commodity. Reports have spewed out that Perry was uninterested in hiring Karlie Redd in any of his movies or shows because she stars on “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.”
Also, since Apollo Nida’s will be imprisoned for the next eight years and Phaedra Parks taking a moratorium from the show to focus on her family, these additions will provide a fresh infusion of interest and intrigue, if the reports are true.
Besides, Kenya Moore is Public Enemy No. 1 and her histrionics at Bar One recently didn’t help matters.
Stay tuned …
