Marquise Jackson, the son of multi-platinum rapper 50 Cent, was enraged that his father neglected to show up at his high school graduation this past weekend and put the music mogul on full blast via social media.
In a revealing and poignant posting on Instagram, the teen Jackson admitted that his father Curtis Jackson’s absence was crushing to his spirit — despite the well-chronicled warfare going on between 50 and his mother that also strained the father-son relationship.
“Yea I broke down. I was really excited to see my pops at my graduation today but he never showed up. My sister and mama is always there for me. Just know that you wasn’t. I did it without you!”
You would think that 50 could have stood up in the back of the auditorium, waved at his son and then bounced if he didn’t want to be seen. It’s not like his son will ever graduate from high school again. But 50 Cent did reportedly declare that he was cutting his son off from vast fortune because of their years-long rift.
