Atlanta Falcons Thursday Night Football Appearance to Benefit Local School

This Thursday, the Atlanta Falcons will host division rival the New Orleans Saints at the Georgia Dome. The Atlanta Falcons participation in the game will also benefit Camp Creek Middle School in College Park, through the NFL PLAY 60 DonorsChoose.org Showdown.
The program, which was launched by the NFL in partnership with DonorsChoose.org, features two deserving youth health and fitness projects from the cities of the two teams competing in the Thursday Night Football game. The winning project will be 100 percent funded by NFL PLAY 60, and the other will be 50 percent funded.
This week, Camp Creek Middle School in College Park, GA is competing with Marie Riviere Elementary School in Metairie, LA. Each school is trying to earn the most fan votes in order to receive funding for their respective youth health and fitness project.
