Terrell Coleman, a 6’5” basketball standout for Lithonia’s Miller Grove High School died on Sunday, according to Dekalb County school officials. Coleman was considered to be one of the top recruits of his class in the nation.

The school officials who were not named in a report by the AJC said Coleman, a freshman, died after playing basketball Sunday afternoon. A crisis intervention team will be at the school Monday for staff and students.

Coleman was a small forward on the school’s basketball team. Basketball recruiting website Future150.com projected that he would end up at a major college, ranking him 13th in the nation for the 2017 recruiting class.

Coleman also played for the Atlanta Celtics, a youth travel basketball league focused on keeping kids on the path to college.
