Kyle Korver reportedly turned down a deal with the Brooklyn Nets to stay with the Atlanta Hawks on a four-year, $24 million contract. Korver also rejected a three-year, $21 million dollar contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Korver is coveted for his excellent shooting skill. Last season, he made 46 percent of his shots from three-point range, and posted his highest true shooting percentage thus far.
It is yet unclear how this development will shape the Hawks’ success down the line. Korver is a player who plays well off of his teammates, however if the Hawks choose to rebuild their team, as some are suggesting, Korver may not be as valuable next season.
