Rally For Martin At State Capitol

rally for Trayvon Martin

DeKalb NAACP President John Evans (from left), state NAACP President Edward Dubose and WAOK radio host Derrick Boazman share podium recently at a rally outside the Georgia Capitol for Trayvon Martin. Martin was shot dead by self-appointed neighborhood watch patroller George Zimmerman, who has yet to be arrested. The family, meanwhile, has repeatedly asked for a full investigation of the shooting. As part of an event calling for justice for Martin on the one-month anniversary of his death, Trayvon’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, marched  in Sanford, Fla., with more than 1 million signatures from their Change.org petition calling for the prosecution of Zimmerman.
