The Afro American Historical and Genealogical Society Inc., Metro Atlanta Chapter is partnering with the National Archives at Atlanta for a program on the Gullah Geechee Culture, Saturday, Feb. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5. p.m. at the National Archives on Jonesboro Road in Morrow. Featuring presentations by Dr Mary B. Zeigler, Dr. D.L. Henderson and the Gullah Geechee Shouters, the program is open to the public. The afternoon program will feature the Clayton County African American Arts and Heritage Festival, and following the festival will be an exhibit by Denise Fields.
