REVOLT announced the launch of The People’s Brief, an unfiltered news and commentary series hosted by award-nominated digital powerhouse Lynae Vanee. Premiering Tuesday, May 20, the weekly series delivers fearless takes on today’s most pressing issues through political insight, cultural critique, and unapologetic humor. The People’s Brief is a redefinition of how news should sound, look, and feel for a generation craving both substance and soul.

Renowned for her unfiltered takes on race, history, and power dynamics, Vanee, who is represented by ColorCreative, brings her distinct voice to a new format that reimagines how news is delivered. We’re taking the topics people are already talking about, from politics to identity and power, and presenting them in a way that feels real, relevant, and grounded in community.”

This partnership strengthens REVOLT’s creator-first philosophy and its mission to lead with substance in a crowded content landscape. Continuing its dedication to investing in emerging talent, as the flagship media brand of Offscript Worldwide, a next-generation media and creator ecosystem, REVOLT is reshaping how news can entertain, educate, and ignite impact.
