CHICAGO (WLS) –Chicago police said a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood Friday evening, by a a group of men who forced their way into his home. The victim is the grandson of U.S. Rep. Danny Davis, who represents Illinois’ 7th Congressional District.Police said the victim was in his home in the 5600-block of South Princeton Avenue when two men forced their way into his home. Police said there was a dispute over gym shoes.
One of the men pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Chicago police are investigating. No one is currently in custody.
