Lifestyles Report …Weight loss sabotaged

I just looked at the “Mickey Dees” web site to confirm the calories and the pictures look so good, but I want to know one thing; why is the cheese melted in the picture, but not melted when you go the restaurant? I notice that at a lot of places; they just place the cheese on the hamburger and expect the burger to do the job of melting. Speaking of cheese, why has macaroni and cheese been added to so many menus? Some people need to know that they cannot make macaroni and cheese; and why would you want to pile it on top of a hamburger? And why would you want to deep-fry it? I was at an event recently and they had fried macaroni and cheese balls. That confused me. I think they took the prepared macaroni and cheese, rolled it into a ball, and then rolled it around in some breadcrumbs and deep-fried it. Everything does not have to be deep-fried. I went to lunch with a friend the other day and she ordered deep fried pickles. I love pickles and would have been happy with just plain pickles. The deep-frying ruined these pickles. The one thing that I do like is the deep-fried green beans at TGI Fridays. They are done just right and I like the dip that comes with them. This is the only crunchy green been that I do like.
Since I’m talking about food, I can’t wait to visit the Sweet Home Café at the new African American Museum in Washington, D.C. Reportedly tickets for this year are “sold out.” That is the only term that I can use because the tickets are free. I went to the website and it says the “timed passes” for the first quarter of 2017 will be available on line on Oct. 3, at 9 a.m. eastern time. All I can say is wow! I hope I can get in next year. Please go to the website before you go; they have a lot of information about visiting the museum.
