Kiera Keeps Caring Foundation recently held its 2016 Walk for Life at the Schenley Park Trails. The annual event included a walk, followed by a celebration cookout that featured live entertainment, guest speakers and activities for all ages.
The KKCF, founded by Carla Gaines Robinson, was established in honor of Gaines’ daughter, Sha’Vaughn Kierra Wallace, who was fatally shot in May 2009 while in sitting in a vehicle in the North Side section of Pittsburgh. Wallace had been on summer break from college.

This is the seventh year the event has been held.
