Women’s Weekend
SEPT. 9—Pentecostal Temple COGIC, 6300 East Liberty Blvd., in East liberty, will host “Women’s Weekend 2016,” Sept. 9-11. Friday, 7 p.m., will be “Pack Your Pew For Prayer” with Evangelist Marlene Ford. Saturday at 10:30 a.m., a Special Workshop for Male, Females & Youth will be held with Minister Corey Lankford presenting on “Virgin Heart: The Pursuit of True Intimacy.” Registration $10 for Adults, Under 12 years $5. The featured guest speaker for both Saturday night at 7 p.m. and Sunday Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. will be Dr. Yvonne Capehart, Believer’s Life Center in Florida. Women’s Conference
Sept. 9-11—Bethlehem Baptist Church will host its conference which includes: Friday–Lady Debra Moncrief, and Pastor June Jeffries. Saturday—Breakfast, Rev. Amelia Jones. Sunday—Bishop Telma Mitchell. Registration $35.
Power of Prayer Breakfast
SEPT. 10—Carrone Baptist Church’s, 7119 Frankstown Ave., Homewood, will host a Breakfast at 9 a.m. at the Hosanna House, 806 Wallace Ave., Wilkinsburg. A $25 donation is requested. All are invited to come pray, eat and fellowship at this spiritual outreach. For more information call 412-371-9919.
Pre-Men’s Day
SEPT. 10—Jerusalem Baptist Church located at 123 Steuben St., in West End, will host a Pre-Men’s Day worship service at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Antawn D. Coleman Sr. of White Lily Baptist Church, of Chartiers City, along with his choir and congregation. Rev. Theodore E. Annual Choir Day
SEPT. 18—The Nazarene Baptist Church, 7053 Hamilton Ave., in Homewood, Annual Choir Day will feature Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Jones and the Heritage Gospel Chorale of Pittsburgh in Concert at 4 p.m. Rev Ricky V Burgess is the senior pastor.
Church Choir Festival
SEPT. 24—The Urban M. Garrett/Dr. Major Mason III Families of McKeesport presents its Church Choir Festival featuring Morning Star Baptist Church of Fairmont, W.Va., and other local choirs and male chorus at 2:30 p.m. The host church is Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut St., in McKeesport. Please join the celebration of greatness of the Lord in song.
