Lifestyles Report …The first time

I’ve been slacking on giving you my list of first experiences. Frankly, I think I have missed a few months of experiencing firsts. There were a few events I wanted to attend and became overwhelmed with life, and missed them. I just got back from Fargo, N.D. Now, that was a big first for me. I never dreamed that I would go to Fargo, but I had to go on business and it was an interesting experience. Lots of flat land and not many African Americans.
Fortunately, the crew that I was with likes to try different restaurants that at least one of us had not been to before. It didn’t matter if it was a chain. The first night we went to Johnny Carino’s. I had seen the commercials, but didn’t know we had one in Robinson Township. It was enjoyable. The next evening was Vinyl Taco. I’m not a Mexican food fan, but I like tacos, at least, I thought I did. This spot was located in “downtown” Fargo. The area reminded me of Lawrenceville. Vinyl albums are the source for all of the music played in the restaurant, hence the name Vinyl Taco. It was a cool place with a lot of neat decorations. A sofa made out of a Coke machine caught my eye and a life size gold bison with a flat screen television in its side was interesting. The food was not good enough for me to go back, but I give them an A for originality.
