RIO DE JANEIRO — The “Today” show weatherman and reporter Al Roker tore into fellow TV journalist Billy Rush who tried to downplay — and even sometimes defended — Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte’s lies to the Rio government over being “robbed” at gunpoint.
While Rush tried to call Lochte’s story “embellishment” of the truth, Roker was vehemently and resolutely calling it outright lies.
