CENTURY CITY, Calif. – Last night, some fans got a chance to see the softer side of gangsta rapper The Game as he and his 5-year-old daughter Cali hosted the screening of the new film Kubo and the Two Strings for 200 guests at AMC Century City in suburban Los Angeles.
Attendees included Flex Alexander and Shanice Wilson (OWN’s “Flex & Shanice”); Torrei Hart (VH1’s “Atlanta Exes”); “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast membersMoniece Slaughter, Nia Riley and Milan Christopher; Travis Winfrey (VH1’s “Single Ladies”);Nicki Micheaux (ABC Familly’s “Lincoln Heights”); recording artist MAJOR; Chef Ameera and more.
On Tuesday in Manhattan, N.Y., “Love & Hip Hop” star Yandy Smith-Harris hosted a Kubo and the Two Strings screening at AMC 19th Street. Guests included tv producer/artist manager Mona Scott-Young, tv host Shannon Lanier and writer Miles Marshall Lewis.
KUBO and the Two Strings is in theaters on Friday, Aug. 19.
