RIO DE JANEIRO — Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is coming under increasing international scrutiny that he has fabricated parts or all of his story of being held up at gunpoint in the early mornings during the Rio Olympics in Brazil.
A judge was so suspicious of Lochte’s story that she ordered that he be brought to the court to answer some more questions. The only problems is that he boarded a plain and left for the Unites States before the judge could get her legal claws on him. Lochte’s partners,w ho were with him that night were not so luckly; they were hauled off their airplanes and shipped to the police station in Rio to explain the inconsistencies. No word on when the accomplices will be released to go home to the U.S.
Meanwhile, social media has had a field day with memes and tweets mocking Lochte’s story of being robbed by alleged fake police, replete with a gun stuck to his head demanding their wallets.
Take a look at some of the funniest ones:

If Ryan Lochte lied about that robbery, how can we ever believe any man’s allegations of robbery? ?

For Lochte the unbelievable thing is a 32 year old man still telling his mom the whereabouts of his night out.

If it turns out Lochte filed a false report, I look forward to people bringing up the case every single time a man says he’s been robbed.
