Dwayne Wade signed a deal reportedly worth $47 million over two years on Friday with the Chicago Bulls.

Wade chose to leave the Miami Heat after 13 seasons following a prolonged contract negotiation. According to reports, Miami’s final offer to the 12-time All-Star was a two-year, $41 million contract.

Pat Riley said he regrets letting Dwyane Wade leave the Miami Heat, acknowledging that he was “floored” by the superstar’s decision to join the Chicago Bulls in free agency, according to ESPN.

“I’m going to miss the fact of what I might have had planned for him and his future and how I saw the end and my thought process in how I could see his end here with the Heat,” Riley said. “It’s my responsibility to sort of make that happen. I didn’t make it happen. Dwyane left, and the buck stops here.”

Well, one thing’s for sure, Chicago is certainly happy that Wade has come home! And he is too, listen to Wade’s message to all Bulls fans here.
