Wendy Williams absolutely blasted for dissing the NAACP and HBCUs

When you combine loud, ghetto, self-revulsion and blatant ignorance, you produce a pathetic product like the “Wendy Williams” show. The woman who came to fame by cannibalizing any and all famous people while she was on radio, is now spewing and spreading her unscholarliness and simple-mindedness on national TV. She is flagrantly playing to her homogeneous audience by denouncing all black artists and institutions in order to ingratiate herself with her almost all-white fan base. It is self hatred at its clearest.

But when she tried to mock “Grey’s Anatomy’s” Jesse Williams because of his impassioned speech on police brutality and racism at the BET Awards — and then tried to throw in the NAACP and HBCUs — she crossed the line of demarcation of tolerance in the black community, and they dragged the revolting Amazon woman like beer cans on the back of a wedding limousine.

Speaking on Williams, she pivoted to what she thought were easy, soft targets:

“I must say to you, he was on BET. His speech was very poignant. On the other hand, I would be really offended if there was a school that was known as a historically white college. We have historically Black colleges. What if there was the National Organization for White People, only? There’s the NAACP.”

When the studio audience sat there in deafening silence, Williams tried to play it off while laughing:

“Look, everybody’s quiet. You’re leaving me out here to dry by myself? One wrong word — I’m choosing my words carefully, but what I am saying is racism s**ks and we can all do better in our household, educating ourselves and teaching our children to make it better.”

Still she tried to revisit the HBCU topic, further sinking herself:

“National speeches like this will always rub people the wrong way just like white people will be offended because Spelman College is a historically Black college for women. You might feel funny about that. I know I’d feel funny, like I just told you. If there was a white college or whatever.”

A herd of angry social media users stampeded all over Williams for her flagrant attempt to denounce and belittle HBCUs and the NAACP. Take a look:
