Each honoree also received a proclamation from Allegheny County Councilman Tom Baker. William “Bill” Saunders was presented the Mr. Elk Award, Paul Cabell read his profile and the award was presented by Daughter Rose Jones. Barbara J. McGill was presented the Ms. Elk Award, Daughter Ruler Andi Williams read her profile and the award was presented by Marge Wright Eubanks.
The final awards of the evening, the Good Daughter and Good Brother Award are always a surprise. This year’s Good Daughter was Jeanette Steel and the Good Brother Howard Les Carpenter.
