“Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star Mimi Faust caused a cultural rumbling the other night when she ambushed her fellow cast members — and fans of the show — with her secret lover.
Most believed initially that the person coming up to hug her, Chris Gould, was a guy. But it turned out that Gould is a woman and that she and Faust have been involved in a gay relationship for quite some time.
You would think that fans would be more accepting. But some saw this simply a ploy for ratings, for attention, a brand-building scheme, a manufactured storyline or anything but true love.
