Singer K$sha’s world came crashing down around her, leaving her in a fit of sobs and her fans thundered on the streets with rage, as a judge in New York ruled that she cannot extricate herself from the Sony contract, and therefore must work with the man she accuses of raping her 2006.
The “Tik Tok” singer reportedly said she’s too afraid to continue collaborating with super producer Dr. Luke, whose real name is Luke Gottwald. She said the man stole her virginity during her 18th birthday party in Southern California.
She claims he holds her exclusive contract, and even though Sony has offered to let her work with another producer, Kesha said she feared the company wouldn’t promote her music if she’s paired with a different partner.
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, claims that Dr. Luke drugged her with a “sober pill” and raped her shortly after her 18th birthday in California. He was never criminally charged.
The judge justified his ruling against her and in favor of Dr. Luke this way:
“You’re asking the court to decimate a contract that was heavily negotiated and typical for the industry,” Kornreich told Kesha’s attorney, Mark Geragos, on Friday.
“I don’t understand why I have to take the extraordinary measure of granting an injunction,” the judge added.
Kornreich heard arguments that Dr. Luke—who’s worked with Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Nicki Minaj—invested $60 million in Kesha’s career and that he agreed to allow her to record with Sony without his involvement, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Mostly Kesha fans have reacted harshly to the judge’s ruling that the singer has to make at least six more albums with her alleged sexual and psychological tormentor. Take a look at what Kesha fans has to say on social media:
