Have Your Taxes Prepared For Free

The Center for Economic Progress is offering free tax preparation at Dawson Technical Institute, 3901 S. State St., from 5:30-8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through April 18. To qualify, individuals need to have made less than $25,000 last year or $50,000 for families.
According to their web page, The Center for Economic Progress (CEP) helps low-income, working families as a trusted provider of tax and financial services. Everything we do, from direct service to informing public policy, improves the financial stability of those we serve.
