FLINT, Mich. — The outpouring of support from around the country, including from celebrities, for the Michigan’s impoverished and beleaguered industrial city as a result of the catastrophic water scandal continues unabated.
Rap icon Snoop Dogg made a stop in Flint, Mich., which is about a 90 minute drive north of Detroit, before performing at the Masonic Temple. The Atlanta Daily World’s sister paper, the Detroit-based The Michigan Chronicle was able to snap this exclusive photo of the West Coast hip hop heavyweight, replete with the words “Flint Lives Matter” glaringly stenciled across the front of the long-sleeved black shirt.
