According to Drake Phifer, Director of Marketing and Special events for RTM, the  donation of more than 10,000 bottles of water by the trio is going to make it easier for RTM to reach it’s goal of providing 20,000 bottles of water to the citizens of Flint.  “The water needs in Flint are enormous, and will require each and everyone of us on an ongoing basis to help until the problem has been solved.  This is the RTM family of publications way to show that we care. It’s a drop in the bucket.  We are aiming for 20,000 bottles, but if  the response   grows, our volunteers will coordinate the delivery for as much as we need.”

Gordon Chambers says “It’s hard to believe that we are living in times where our people are STILL fighting for basic human rights such as not being killed by police and safe drinking and bathing water in 2016.  It makes me wanna holler and throw up both my hands. However, in honor of my MOTOWN heroes Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, I am glad Real Times Media called on me for a tangible way to spread love and help my music-loving Michigan citizens. After all, love’s in need of love–TODAY.”
