The Chicago Urban League is hosting a CPD community  workshop to address your interest in joining the Chicago Police Department.

Given the current relations between the Black community and the Chicago Police Department some feel that it’s very critical that more Black officers are hired. When the police and firemen live and work in your neighborhood an entirely different relationship is developed. Come to the workshop and learn what intakes to be a member of the Chicago Police Force.

In effort to help diversify the ranks of the Chicago Police Department, the Chicago Urban League’s workshop   CPD recruitment fair, is  Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m., 4510 S. Michigan Avenue. CPD representatives will be onsite to explain the application process. Interested applicants may apply using the computer labs at the Chicago Urban League. The deadline to apply is Jan. 31.

For more information, see flyer below and attached.  Feel free to share the information with your spouses, family, friends and neighbors.
