They did seem to have a glitch in the program, however, during the climatic moment during the latest episode — the rap battle between Hakeem and talented newcomer Bre-Z as Freda — when the crowd appeared to know the lyrics to a rap battle.
That would be impossible, because rap battles are freestyle that is supposed to showcase a rapper’s ability to think up and spit rapid rhymes on the fly. Social media took the show to task for that conspicuous slip up.
