Mayor Reed to join Gov. Deal at Sage North America ribbon-cutting ceremony

Mayor Kasim Reed will join Governor Nathan Deal, Commissioner Chris Carr, and the corporate leadership of software engineering firm Sage at a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its new North American headquarters and innovation hub in Atlanta. Sage is one of the world’s leading suppliers of enterprise resource planning software.
Sage will establish about 400 new jobs at the Midtown hub over the next several years. Combined with the company’s existing operations in Lawrenceville, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta, Sage will have approximately 1,000 employees in the metropolitan Atlanta area in the next several years.
Those scheduled to be in attendance include Reed, Deal, Commissioner Chris Carr of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Stephen Kelly, the CEO of Sage and Marc Scheipe, the interim president of Sage North America.
