'Cosmopolitan' gets slammed for calling Kardashians 'America's first family' instead of Obamas

first family
Cosmopolitan is really beginning to get on black people’s nerves.
The trashy publication continues its affront on black culture when it had the crazy audacity to name the kooky Kardashians America’s “First Family” in it’s latest cover spread.
Remember, this is the same magazine that told America what looks where in and out for 2015, with all the black women being on the “outs” and white women on the “in.”
Now this.
Ryan Seacrest, the creator of “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” of course rationalized as a sappy apologists why the Kardashians were worthy of the title:
“No one could have predicted the Kardashians’ and Jenners’ success. But when you spend time with them, what resonates is the family unit. There are so many things about them that are glamorous, crazy, and unlike our lives, but the sense of family is universal. They love and stand by one another no matter what,” says Ryan Seacrest, the executive producer of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and the family’s self-described “big brother” in Cosmo‘s November 2015 issue, which celebrates the magazine’s 50th birthday. “Their unvarnished candor reveals how close they really are. What’s more, they present acceptance. You look at Bruce and now Caitlyn — you see the power of a family to come together when it would be so easy to fall apart. There’s comfort in viewing that steadfastness of love.”
Pretty funny stuff, huh, even though Seacrest actually said this with a straight face.
Urbanites, however, were not amused whatsoever, and tore into Cosmo and the Kardashians for such a ridiculous and asinine title when they have accomplished absolutely nothing of worth besides a star-making porn video.
