The latest, upcoming season will pick up from Mary Jane’s car accident that left viewers on the edge of their seats for the season two finale. Fans will also get to see how she handles her on-again/ off-again boyfriend David and her bestfriend Lisa.
MJ also ends up being forced to take a leave from her news-anchoring job to heal after her accident. She gets replaced by a young Latina, causing fans to wonder what it’ll be like when Mary Jane returns to her job. Will she even still have a job?
The drama doesn’t end there. The other woman involved in the car crash with Mary Jane, a bookstore owner named Cecilia (played by Loretta Devine), is apt to come around looking for a “come up” once its determined MJ was responsible for the accident. Season Three of “Being Mary Jane” premieres Oct. 20 at 9P/8C on BET.
