Oprah goes 'retro': Poses for ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s O Mag covers (Look!)

oprah-o-mag1 *Oprah Winfrey is stepping back a few decades to pay tribute to the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s in the October 2015 issue of O magazine.
Bringing back the ’50s, the media mogul channeled Audrey Hepburn to appear with upswept hair, a red lippie with matching red nails and a heavy cat eye, which has returned reemerged on today’s style radar, according to TheYBF.com.

Fast forward to the ’60s and Lady O is on a mod and sophisticated vibe with a tan trench coat over her 70s yellow dress. Capping it off is a hairstyle inspire by the iconic look Catherine Deneuve sported in 1967’s “Belle de Jour” as well as a pink lippie that Winfrey admitted to never trying if it wasn’t for a cover shoot.
“I’m stepping out of my comfort zone with this shade! It’s called Pink Sugar,” Oprah said.

The final variant finds Winfrey in ’70s mode with a hippie ensemble that goes with a colorful tunic, a pair of denim bell bottoms and platform sandals.
Adding to the flavor of the throwback look are long curls and big soft eyelashes for the time-traveling businesswoman-actress.
“O” Magazine’s October 2015 issue with all three variant covers is on newsstands now.
