It is finally here! We’ve been chatting with you the Carver Park Teen Wellness Center throughout the year. So the grand opening is finally here. I hope that you guys can send a reporter and photographer to the event this Saturday. This has been a true collaboration with the City, CHA, Park District and Congresswoman Kelly. The space is really beautiful.
What: The Chicago Park District and Coca-Cola are hosting a Health and Wellness Fair and Open House to celebrate the grand opening of the new Carver Park Teen Wellness Center on the southeast side of Chicago. The new Center will provide much-needed wellness programs for the community, including teen-oriented exercise classes like cross-training and hip-hop, healthy cooking classes, eating instruction and self-esteem workshops.
This exciting, interactive and FREE event will be full of field day challenges, games, music, dancing, health and wellness information and more for your whole family to enjoy!
When: Saturday, June 27, 2015
