Aurora’s president Margaret Burley, Ann Jeffries and Sharon Jarrett-Brown

The Aurora Reading Club of Pittsburgh recently celebrated their 120th Anniversary. In celebration they brought to Pittsburgh Ann Jeffries, the award winning author of the “Family Reunion-in The Wisdom of the Ancestors  Series.”

At their regular meeting, Jeffries was presented by Sharon Jarrett-Brown, a high school classmate from Asheville, N.C. The club discussed her book  “Southern Exposures.” One of the book’s themes is, “Two is company, but three is a family.” Despite their desperate problems, the Alexander siblings rally together. Jeffries has written more than 29 books.
