Jay Williams, the man who has 34 children with 17 different women, is about to get his own spin-off show.
Yes, you read that right. Williams, who sat down with Iyanla Vanzant along with several mothers of his children for one of her “Fix My Life” shows on Oprah’s OWN Network, is about to get a program that probes deeper into his life.
According to Variety, Atlanta-based Williams will have his own show where he will try to mend the relationships with his family, children and the many mothers of his children. Vanzant will appear as a mentor to try to help him and guide him along the way.
Vanzant said unequivocally that Williams has to “do the work” to repair the shattered relationships. But, many believe that since Williams has exemplified irresponsibility up until now, they believe he will only try to repair these relationships in front of the cameras.
This sentiment about Williams is certainly shared by one of his many daughters who was unapologetic in saying she resents Vanzant for giving her father another way to circumvent around his responsibilities.
Vanzant said Williams is ultimately the only person who can hold himself accountable. As of now, Williams is seen as a prima donna who is only interested in being seen than he is in repairing and rebuilding the relationships he’s broken with the women he laid down with and produced the astronomical number of children.
