Many metro Atlanta government offices will open late on Tuesday, Feb. 17 due to winter weather conditions. Local weathermen have predicted dangerous conditions developing due to freezing rain and plummeting weather which will produce black ice all over the greater Atlanta area.
The cities of Atlanta and East Point as well as Fulton County offices said they will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17 due to possible icy conditions weather. Mission essential personnel and all public safety agencies will report for duty at their normal times.
All Fulton County Court operations will also open at 10 a.m.  Jurors should report for duty at that time.
Citizens and employees may monitor www.fultoncountyga.gov and Fulton County on social media @fultoninfo for additional updates. For Atlanta government workers, log onto www.atlantaga.gov for updates, while East Point city employees are expected to report to work at 10 a.m.
