
Community fundraisers and activists are asking Atlantans to come out to Midtown and put some “hilarity in charity” with thousands of other half-naked runners through the Cupid Undie Run to benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
According to the website, they netted over $2.8 Million and want to top that total this year nationwide. The Children’s Tumor Foundation is the world’s largest non-government organization dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis (NF) through research. Currently, there is no cure for NF and there are frighteningly few treatment options. The Children’s Tumor Foundation is a Charity Navigator 4-Star charity that prides itself on efficiency, spending 82.4% of its revenue on program expenses and less than 8% on administrative costs.
They are asking you to come and start a team, join a team, or just run solo and make some new friends.
