The 2nd Annual Black Family expo took place at Atlanta’s Georgia International Convention Center
This year’s expo was kicked off by Bishop Eddie Long, pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Pauline Key & the Light of the World Choir, Inspire the Fire and Saxophonist Reginald Harris, SH’BOSS Boys.
This Expo is designed to help fortify family ties while learning and interacting together as a unit as well as strengthening individual growth with an array of seminars to enjoy. Seminar topics included a range of familial issues, such as The Message to Black Fathers, Black Inventors and Black Family Wellness. Those with technological interests may want to join the Understanding LinkedIn and Social Media Revival seminars and healthcare topics on Fibroids and Obesity among African American Children will also be discussed. Teens were able to have their voices heard at the Teen Summit, while younger children were entertained by Magicians and can play in Kid’s Village.
Th 2nd Annual Black Family Expo was sponsored by the likes of KISS 104.1, Cox Media, Comcast, Nissan, State Farm, Whole Foods, Strayer University, FNC Bank, 11Alive, WATL 36, Southwest Airlines, Bounce TV.
