ATLANTA — The Trumpet Awards 2015 after party was as much a star-studded affair as the actual red carpet and awards program themselves.
Most of the celebrities and dignitaries shuttled over from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in neighboring Marietta into the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta in order to top off a spectacular weekend of awards, entertainment and engrossing panel discussions throughout the metro area.
The likes of Jamie Foxx, Johnny Gill, Quvenzhame Wallis,Roland Martin, Debra Cox, “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey, the Trumpet Award winners and many more were on hand to imbibed on delectable cuisine and dance to the tunes of 70’s legendary funk band The Barclays. The exclusive soiree also gave Trumpet Awards founder Xernona Clayton an opportunity to thank her partners for helping her to put together another memorable awards weekend, most particularly General Motors and American Family Insurance, the title sponsor of the annual awards tribute.
