Music impresario and “ATL Live on the Park” co-creator Shanti Das is as prolific a deliverer of gifts as she was with helping to deliver hit songs during her music exec heyday in New York.
The Atlanta resident and author hosted the 3rd Annual ‘No Reservations Needed’ Thanksgiving Dinner at the Atlanta Mission and the 4th Semi-Annual ‘Day of Pampering’ benefiting the Genesis Women’s Shelter of Atlanta. Das collaborated on these Holiday Season philanthropic endeavors with 10 Squared, AG Entertainment, The Gidewon Group Walmart, V-103, Teddy Riley, Four Blend and more.
On December 6th, Shanti Das, WSB-TV Anchor and Genesis Board Member, Jovita Moore, 10 Squared and Glam Hosts presented the 4th Semi-Annual ‘Day of Pampering’ at the Genesis Women’s Shelter of Atlanta to make moms feel special for the holidays. Eighteen moms received a full day of pampering treatments with complimentary hair, makeup and manicure services from local hair stylists and beauticians and enjoyed music by DJ Cha Cha Jones and more. By the end of the day, now confident and stylish, each mom expressed their overwhelming gratitude to the volunteers for their time and support.
Other donations for the event included items from: Carrie Sloane, owner & operator of McDonalds, celebrity stylist Shun Melson, Honesty Jewelry, Pink Sky Boutique, Miss Jessie’s, Eat Heavenly Cupcakes, Ryan Glover’s ‘Kile’s Beautiful Mind’, Target, Walmart, a slew of makeup and hair artists, nail technicians and more.
