“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss and the Atlanta Dream collaborated in a CHOA Holiday Party to provide food, presents, activities and cheer for patients and their families at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta at Egleston. Among those in attendance were Dream forward and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist DeLisha Milton Jones along with Burruss, the founder of the Kandi C.A.R.E.S. foundation. Kids in attendance were able to make crafts, take holiday photos, get temporary holiday tattoos and enjoy dinner thanks to volunteers from the Dream and Kandi Cares

The event was part of the Dream’s Season of Giving initiative, in which the Dream is participating in numerous community service events throughout the metro Atlanta area during the holiday season. The Dream and Kandi Cares are also partnering on a Blankets of Dreams: Winter Wear Drive presented by RMC Movers, providing gloves, scarves, hats, coats, socks and blankets to Atlanta Mission’s My Sister’s House. A live event to promote the gathering of donation items is being held Friday, Dec. 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint, and the items will be presented to My Sister’s House on Monday, Dec. 22 at 1:30 p.m.
