“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and Grammy-winning songtress-songwriter Kandi Burruss is one of the most renowned and prolific celebrity philanthropists on the scene today. Through her foundation, Kandi C.A.R.E.S., and with the help of youth ambassadors such as Jacob Lattimore and close acquaintance Chanita Foster, they donated coats to kids for the winter season.
Through the “Warm Heart and Coat Drive” premise, the event took place at Starbucks (formerly owned by Magic Johnson) on Cascade Road in Atlanta. The likes of OT Jazz and Aaliyah Rucker were also on the scene to give back to the community from which they emanate.
