What took her so long?
K. Michelle has finally confirmed there was something with going on between her and Idris Elba.
The singer/reality TV star admitted to an eight-month relationship with Elba during an appearance Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club.” According to K. Michelle, the fling started after they met at the Soul Train Awards. The relationship was obviously had some kick as K. Michelle chronicled the entire situation on her new album “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?”
“Yes, I’m not going to lie,” she confessed when asked if the album is about Elba, who was sent all the tracks K. Michelle was planning to put on the release by the woman herself. Despite the “No Good Deed” actor telling her that he hates the place that they’re at with their current “situationship”, K. Michelle noted that he called her music a work of art.
The release of “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart” comes as K. Michelle stands accused of stealing photoshoot ideas for the cover art of her new offering from the model Lady Tatyana.

As their romance progressed, K. Michelle revealed that Elba mentioned that they were going to have a future together. Nevertheless, that wasn’t meant to be once Elba got wife/make-up artist Naiyana Garth pregnant. Instead of coming between Elba and his family, K. Michelle ended up walking away from the relationship.
Despite the outcome, things did not end on a sour note. Confirming that she and Elba will always have a creative bond, K. Michelle joked that she would still give him some and believes that if they had met at a different time they would probably be together now.
While chatting with Angela Yee and Charlamagne tha God, K. Michelle had words about former friend Lil’ Kim, who she called “Plastic Penny,” as well as a new TV series she’s working on with Mona Scott-Young that finds her helping fans catch their man cheating after setting up them with decoys to see if they’ll go there.
In addition, K. Michelle weighed in on getting plastic surgery and liposuction (“It’s my body, my money I can do what I want to do.”) and why she decided to let her son Chase appear on her reality show as well as her song “Drake Would Love Me,” moving to Europe in April, and domestic abuse.
